Eligibilty Criteria For Schwarzman Scholars Program 2020-2021:
  • Undergraduate degree or first degree from an accredited college or university or its equivalent.
  • Applicants currently enrolled in undergraduate programs must be on track to successfully meet all graduation requirements by August 1 of their Schwarzman Scholars enrollment year. There are no conditions for a particular area of graduate studies; all fields are accepted, but it is necessary for candidates, regardless of the graduate program, to express how to engage.
Age Requirements:
  • Candidates must be at least 18 but not yet 29 years of age as of August 1 of their Schwarzman Scholars enrollment year.
English Language Proficency:
  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL PBT). A minimum score of 600.
  • Internet-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL iBT). A minimum score of 10
  • International English Language Testing System (IELTS). Minimum score 7.
  • Applicants must show good Language skills, because all instruction must be done in Language. Unless the applicant’s native language is not English, the official English proficiency test score must be submitted with the submission.That requirement is relaxed for candidates who have enrolled at an educational university where the main language of learning has been English for at least two years of the applicant’s degree program. The prerequisite would also be suspended for students who have learned English for two or more years at a Master’s degree or higher level. The appropriate research choices are as follows:
